Passion, love and determination, from 1979 to today, have allowed us to create a unique espresso of its kind: our coffee is velvety, sweet and fruity, a “chocolate” that can be recognized and appreciated even without sugar. A unique blend, the result of a perfect extraction by our lever machines designed to prepare the unmistakable Izzo espresso.
The IZZO company is founded.
In Boscoreale, Naples, Vincenzo Izzo founds a small artisanal coffee roasting business aimed at producing the True Neapolitan Espresso
The first international trade fairs.
After years of hard work Izzo coffee begisn to gain worldwide recognition. From this year onwards we are actively present at the main international sector-specific trade fairs.
Our first coffee machines.
In order to guarantee our client impeccable quality from 1994 we are producers of traditional automatic and semi-automatic machines.
Technology, attention to design and refinement in trimmings go hand-in-hand. In this year our iconic Capri machine is created, with its cherrywood and gold trimmings.
Traditional lever machines and PID system.
After our first coffee machines, in 1997 begins the production of lever machines thus expanding the range of products Made In Italy created in our company. Of our achievements to be proud of we have the PID system which guarantees control and precision in boiler temperature management.
The introduction of pressurized coffee tins
For the first time Izzo coffee tins are pressurized: a system in which the air in the tini s replaced by an inert gas at higher pressure than atmospheric pressure. Thus the coffee acquires body, roundness and intensity and its aroma remains long-lasting.
A strong entrepreneurial impetus, flanked and supported by the efforts of extremely qualified personnel result in the opening of the first Izzo bar in franchising
Izzo Academy is founded
The desire to promote and spread the Izzo Espresso culture worldwide gives birth to a centre of excellence offering the opportunity of training and follow-up in the best techniques in coffee extraction.
The new Gruppo Izzo premises
Rapid company development and consolidation of national and international market presence prompted the opening of a new factory at Anagni, in the province of Frosinone.
The distribution of Izzo pods and capsules
With the new faster, automatic extraction methods comes the birth of capsules and pods produced exclusively in our headquarters to assure also in single-portion products the quality and sensation of true and traditional Neapolitan coffee.
Family Espresso worldwide
In 2021 Izzo sets itself the target of offering all the professionalism of coffee made at the bar directly in one’s home and promotes the Family Espresso Project: a range of “domestic” professional machines.

Trade fairs and overseas encounters give us the incentive for research and development, training and instruction on how to achieve an excellent Izzo espresso. We believe in the distinguishing our products from others with the aim of leaving our mark.

We aim to make a difference with our environmentally-sustainable industrial choices: from the choice of materials to the production of energy-saving espresso machines of which professional machines for domestic use having insulated boilers to guarantee less heat dispersion.
Izzo coffee is “Nature-friendly coffee”. Our pods are 100% compostable: the use of plastic packaging is reduced to a minimum in favour of aper and other recycable raw materials.
We export worldwide a unique espresso, the result of a perfect union between all-Italian blends, machines
and tradition. Our espresso has won over the consumers of many foreign markets who acknowledge the unmistakable taste and aroma of our brand that they cannot do without.
